bulletAcolytes
bulletAssist the priest at the altar. They also carry the cross, torches and banner in liturgical processions. Acolytes rehearse monthly on the last Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
bulletAltar Guild
bulletMembers of the Altar Guild are entrusted with the care of the Altar and its vestments.  All members of the congregation are invited to join the Altar Guild. 
bulletChoirs
bulletLead the congregation in singing at the Sunday Services and other occasional services.  St. George's has three Choirs: Chancel Choir, the Gospel Choir and the Youth Choir. 
bulletGreeters
bulletGreet and assist visitors at Sunday Worship Services. 
bulletLay Eucharistic Ministers
bulletLead the reading of the Scripture lessons, Prayers of the People and administers the Chalice at the Eucharist.  They are licensed by the Bishop of Long Island.
bulletLectors (Lay Readers)
bulletReads the Scripture lessons and Psalms at the 8:30 a.m. service. 
bulletUshers
bulletDistribute bulletins to worshipers, collect the offering and direct worshippers during the Eucharist. 
bulletVisitation Committee
bulletVisit the Parish Sick, Shut-Ins, Nursing Home Residents and hospitalized parishioners usually with a Eucharistic Minister or the Rector to administer Holy Communion.
